Old, rusty, decrepit motel, clean...

Liked: It was a bare bones, no-frills motel room. Very old motel. Only two stories with doors opening to the parking lot. We were on the second floor, and the exterior stairs were rusty and decrepit. The room was very old, but clean. It had a hot shower, a comfortable bed, and working heater/air conditioner unit. Those three features were sort of our minimum requirement for a one night stop during a road trip.
Disliked: Well, to be honest, we stepped out of our car to take our suitcases upstairs, and there was a hooker taking her John into the hotel room under ours, with her pimp standing outside the door. That was special, lol. When we came out 10 minutes later, Everyone had left the scene. But that was a little creepy. It definitely wasn’t the kind of a hotel that you would want to unlock your door and walk around the area at night. Very sketchy area, even sketchier clients. We were just looking for a cheap overnight place to crash on a very long road trip. For $100 per night, we probably could’ve found a hotel that was safer and less rusty and decrepit.

Liked: The Check in gentleman was very pleasant.
Disliked: The room- 211- smelled like cigarettee smoke and old urine.When I turned the AC on that air stank like sulpher and must.The bathroom - shower stall and sink were not clean.When guests came up to the second floor early in the morning , the whole room shook/ trembled. I had just come from a funeral and was too tired to make a fuss.This place was sketchy and borderline scary.Several rooms on the 2nd floor were boarded up.I don't usually read reviews, but after this experience I think I will start.Thank you for asking for my opinion.
