Liked: Communication in regards to pet fees needs to be addressed. I emailed the Marriott after staying in Olympia on 2 occasions. I have yet to receive a response.
Disliked: Charging $100 for a 17 lb dog for a 1 night stay is ridiculous! I asked for a reply and nothing. I guess we will have to take our business elsewhere.

Disliked: Institutional smell and smell of cleaning products and smell of breakfast food permeates the place. Off gassing of furnishings and finishes is strong. Fridge froze my food. In room coffee service sucks. Terrible product.

. Upset over undisclosed fees...

Disliked: When I arrived I was given a form to sign that disclosed a pet $100 fee for my small dog, which had not been disclosed prior to my arrival. I objected because it had not been disclosed until I was checking in. Because I didn't know a out it prior, hotel staff dropped the fee to $50. I had just had surgery about noon and did not have any more energy to discuss it further. I looked through all information received from the hotel about my stay and the cost. I did talk with staff about the other $50 of the pet fee after I'd had some rest, and wrote a note on the pet form I had signed in duress. The note stated that I only signed the form under duress. I was given the managers email to communicate with him, which I will.
