Pleasant

It was okay.
Liked: I liked the cleanliness and the staff. Everyone was sweet.
Disliked: They charge for a king size bed when even the front desk admitted it is smaller than a king. AC was running and it was so loud inside the room it was hard to even get sleep without waking up every 30 minutes to a hour.

Great not many complaints
Liked: Location is the best for a stay in the city
Disliked: The elevator wait time was either on time or you would have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to come up.

As expected
Liked: Locations, room amenities, staff, complimentary tea, and coffee in lobby and rooms.
Disliked: Elevators were so slow that a few times we walked to the 19th floor as the lifts were so slow. Could have been some more fresh/real food on buffet, rooms were very small.

Very good
Liked: - Location central and easily accessible to subway and attractions- Breakfast included- Friendly, helpful, happy staff- Room with kitchenette was great with all appliances you need- scenic views from room
Disliked: - Lift timing during busy periods was difficult, long waits despite high speed and 4 elevators available, mid levels would be skipped as elevators filled at upper levels- some elements not working in room such as window blind and powerpoints

Excellent choice for Manhattan
Liked: Quiet, comfortable room. Size ok for one person, a little tight for two. Spotless. Well-stocked kitchenette with plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Recently renovated, nicely designed. Plenty of elevators, no delay at busy times. Excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from Penn Station, with frequent trains to/from Newark Airport at all hours (I took both ways). Convenient 28th Street subway entrance at corner. Fun walk along 28th street to the east, as you pass through flower district. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay again.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok, typical budget hotel fare. Well-run by staff. Guests held at entry until table available, so no mob scene at buffet. Food replenished quickly. Tables cleared quickly.

Passable
Liked: location, breakfast and kitchenette
Disliked: AC was a hit or miss - on a Summer stay! One lady staff during checkout was rude and unprofessional.
