Nice room with everything you...

Liked: Easy to access by public transport. Allowed early check in for a fee. Breakfast was included, only simple but enough to start the day. Room was clean and had nice shower.
Disliked: No room for suitcases which is typical for NYC and the lifts are really slow during peak times. The first time we had very noisy neighbours but that’s no fault of the property.

Good hotel

Liked: Hotel is fine, rooms are small like all of New York but the kitchen is nice. Staff is very nice. Close to subway stations.
Disliked: The elevators were terrible, sometimes it took us more than 10 minutes to get down or up to the room. The shower was terrible.

Comfortable stay in a small...

Liked: Good breakfast, good and helpful staff and clean hotel and clean room. The hotel was not very busy in June, we waited maybe 5 minutes for a lift or for breakfast.
Disliked: The window in the room does not open completely for safety reasons. It opens about 3-4 inches, but could open a bit more. The rooms are small and the closed windows make it feel like a box. No other common space apart from the reception area and the gym (a bit small and claustrophobic in the basement)

Liked: Staff efficient, organised, friendly & helpful. Free tea/coffee point in reception available 24/7. Food good at breakfast, if a little bit lacking in variety. Bed large and very comfortable. Excellent safe in wardrobe. Blackout blinds worked a treat. Location good for access to both uptown & downtown.
Disliked: Rooms are 'compact'. We were there for 3 days and were out and about most of the time so was ok. Longer than that & room size may have become a factor, particularly the small wardrobe space. Peak breakfast times a bit busy. Queues for a table (but well managed by staff), breakfast area a bit small for volumes. Could have a bit of a wait for lifts sometimes.
