Liked: check in - efficient. reception viz: Genesis, Justin and the others we interacted with were prompt, knowledgeable, extremely helpful... just good people.

An ok price/value hotel though...

Liked: Good location for a relatively good price. Breakfast was sufficient with some gluten free options (although half the gluten free menu was missing, it was good enough).Hotel was quiet and pleasent
Disliked: Room was a bit small with the way the kitchen is organized which made it hard to handle unpacking suitcases

Liked: We enjoyed our stay once we got into the room we originally booked. The location is well suited to travellers due to the ready availablity of public transport, both bus and subway, and is walking distance to Macy’s and The Highline.
Disliked: Unfortunately our late check-in (which was advised in advance) resulted in us being shunted into a totally unsatisfactory room for a night, which then took several hours the next day to resolve. We found the reception staff were not particularly forthcoming in resolving this situation. If we had not expressed our dissatisfaction, I'm sure no action would have been taken to get us into the room we booked and paid for.There were two other things that we were not so happy about, the first was the long wait for an elevator between about 8am and 10am, where the wait could have been up to 15 minutes, the second was the lack of space in the breakfast area, and the lack of ventilation in the mezzanine breakfast area.
