Liked: The room was very clean, and the staff was excellent. Location is great, not far from anything we wanted to do.If having a clean room is top priority, this one was great.I would stay again, but I'd look around before booking again. This was a last minute stay, and we didn't have many options. Cleanliness outweighs a lot of little problems for me. Biggest issue keeping me away was 3 nights of 4-5 hours of sleep. That road noise and weak AC really was a downer.
Disliked: Road noise is a problem if you're on the side near the street. The hotel is in a nook on a difficult intersection (hard to see) there were several accidents during our 3 night stay...besides the onslaught of loud trucks.Breakfast was actually kind of bad, the eggs and sausage were always wet. Pretty much kept to the muffins and bagels.Temperature control was hard in this room. The ac worked, but the thermostat would cut the unit off for a very long time after cooling down. Warming up the room, and not controlling humidity very well. It felt very hot at night.They have firm matresses, if you like that, great. I didn't sleep well.Dog fee is "$100/week" , pretty high. Normally a 3 night stay is $50-$75. 1 night-$100. 6 nights-$100....8 nights-$200. They don't make this public until you check in of course.
