Friendly staff, good location for...

Liked: Location. Nice pool and outdoor sitting area
Disliked: A little outdated. Expensive

Absolutely disaster.

Disliked: I don’t normally give reviews but this hotel.The staff here is so poorly trained that the check-in employee was rude to me and unfriendly, can’t find my reservation even i showed them my confirmation number, and react like it was my fault. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. And then flirted with my female friends and offered them free breakfast. I don’t mind not being offered breakfast, but I would like them to be professional. I got the Trendy 1 King Jr. Suite and the room is dark and unappealing and the towels that they provide are so old they are rough and have holes in them like car wash towel. This is a poorly managed hotel And the only people who would enjoy it are the kind of people who are managing it. It is pathetic. For example, I put the do not disturb sign on my door and at 7 AM there was housekeeping knocking on the door and then trying to open it and then back again at 8AM. I don’t think most people want their room cleaned at seven in the morning and moreover, what’s the point in offering to do not disturb sign if your employees are going to knock and try to enter the room anyway again this is a poorly managed hotel I would advise you to stay away. There are much better properties in the area.

Liked: The room was very inviting, the beds were comfortable and the parking was not far from the room. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and workout facilities.
Disliked: That we had to pay extra for parking the car.

Liked: pool and fireplace areas were beautiful.
Disliked: The first room I got was definitely old and small. I barely fit in the bathroom. Not what I was expecting considering the price. After the first night I asked for an upgrade, was given one on the third night...... The tower was much nicer, and thank you for not charging for parking....

Liked: Great location to visit SDSU as well as most of SD. Fire pits and pool area really nice.
Disliked: Comforter had stains. Housekeeping came to change quickly but still paid the $20 (daily) cleaning fee.

I had a great experience...

Liked: I like the outside of the property it’s very laid back and they have a lot of activities for kids.
Disliked: The property was dirty and had cockroaches. I did complain and asked for housekeeping to come and clean up they did but did not remove cockroach. The bathroom was clogged up and the bartender at the lobby was extremely rude telling everyone she did not have ice for the drinks.
