Very comfortable stay

Liked: Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds and lovely spa facilities, especially the beautiful big pool.

Only worth the money we...

Liked: Easy to get to. Looked very pretty with all the planters.
Disliked: Dated room, bathroom needed a deep clean. Bed side lamp not working. No nets/blinds at ground level room, meant having to close the curtains to get changed/dressed. Carpet had seen better days. Swimming pool……opened at 7 am in the morning…..but not manned until 9 am and no towels so had to go back to the room to get towels. Ladies changing room, poorly maintained shower with no temperature control and scalding hot water.

Liked: Great location easy to get to great base camp for evening out in Swansea itself or to head off site to other locations near by

Nice for a night away,...

Liked: Great location and clean, comfortable room. Air con worked brilliantly. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Hotel is looking quite tired. Our room would have had a perfect view of “the tower” but for the blown central window pane. No hand held shower attachment, just a rainfall head and no shower cap for those who didn’t want to get wet hair. Very odd selection of channels on the TV. Rate included breakfast. Croissants were freshly baked and delicious but the coffee and hot food were quite low quality. The vegetarian sausages had a very unpleasant texture and the scrambled egg had hard lumps in it. We were seated in the bar area, which appeared to have a cardboard floor because it bounced when people walked past.

Liked: All the staff were helpful, food and evening entertainment was good.
Disliked: One Female member of staff, in the Spa area was rude , non helpful when asked for something. Was more interested in talking to a Male Guest or Colleague?
