Disappointing

Liked: Up Mount Hood, surrounded by amazing scenery, historical building, wonderful back story.
Disliked: Room was tiny, considering the price, bed was weirdly soft yet hard to get in and out of!

Awesome place, but service issues

Liked: The Lodge has a fantastically historic ambience. We have always loved going there whether it be for lunch while in the area, or for skiing and/or hiking. Our stay this time included a comfortable bed and good food.
Disliked: For this visit, sadly, I must knock off a few review stars, one for each reason below: 1. The service in the dining room was good, but that in the bar was not. Inattentiveness.2. We had two separate charge issues. One was at dinner, when they charged us anyway for a dessert that was supposed to be complimentary. A minor issue that they fixed. But the room charge: We paid half up front at time of booking almost a year ago. My husband used a different card at check-in for a mandatory $3.00 check-in charge. Prior to check-out, they put the second half of our  room charge pending on BOTH cards. Not cool. They tried to explain it away and one would be dismissed, but that is not the way it should have been done, and I'm glad we (not they) caught it. So word of warning: Double-check all your transactions at Timberline Lodge.

Timberline Lodge is iconic

Liked: We love timberline lodge, been going the last 5 years at the same time for a birthday weekend
Disliked: Happens to fall on one of the busiest weekends so it’s very crowded/ can get loud. We were given a small queen room near the pool stairs and our other party was on a separate floor.. bathroom had a drippy faucet

Probably wouldn’t stay here again....

Liked: The views are beautiful and the lodge was comfortable to lounge around at.
Disliked: The price is pretty high for the room we had and also all the food was so overly priced for what it tasted like. I had food floating in every glass of water I received while eating and my utensils were dirty too.
