The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Right in the heart of the West End, around the corner from Trafalgar Square, with plenty of tourist attractions within walking distance.

Excellent location if pricey

Liked: Excellent location, close to all the places we wanted to visit. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and lovely cool bed linen. Nice to have a coffee machine, and effective (and quiet) aircon.
Disliked: Average quality breakfast, not what I'd expect for the price. Bedrooms have paper thin walls so you can hear talking and tv from next door rooms. We were unlucky enough to have a family sharing several rooms next to us and along the corridor. We could hear and feel the doors banging shut as they regularly came and went between rooms. Luckily we were out most of the time and didn't want a lie in as we wouldn't have got one! Our shower head leaked and dripped constantly and couldn't be fixed during our stay, wasting a lot of water. The price of the hotel reflects the central location, not the quality of the hotel facilities.

Great location

Liked: Excellent location. Front desk staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The woman (I'm sorry I did not get her name) who appeared to be in charge of the breakfast room was especially hospitable and kind. Bed was pretty comfortable.
Disliked: The room was quite small and tight with furniture. Uncomfortable to move around in with also having to navigate luggage in the room.

Business travel convenient - noise...

Liked: Staff are helpful and friendly. Shower was good. AC worked. Cooked breakfast is good but bread on offer is poor.
Disliked: Street noise on 6th floor was very loud compared to rooms on second floor. Mattress was worn and it was like sleeping on a W - no place was comfortable. Great cooked breakfast.

Great time out - we...

Liked: Location is brilliant - so close to everything in central London and walkable to them all. Plus close to travel hubs if you want to venture further afield. Plus down a quiet back street so no late night road noise.
Disliked: Slightly wider bed would have been nice, rather spoilt with the queen size at home, you forget how small a normal one is. Not a major issue.
