The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Right in the heart of the West End, around the corner from Trafalgar Square, with plenty of tourist attractions within walking distance.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: The breakfast was a little disappointing.

I wont be booking again.

Disliked: •Poor quality of the rooms •Poor quality of the breakfast •Poor quality of the service •Non-transparency, yesterday night they asked me to pay about pound 600 and today morning they asked me to pay about pound 900. When I asked them for the details, I was told that they can’t print it out before I make the full payment!!!! Strange… •For the amount paid, pound 489 per night, it is not worth it.

Great hotel in the heart...

Liked: Thistle was great for our short stay in London. The room was clean and relatively spacious for UK standards. Bed was comfy and there were black out curtains. Air conditioner worked great. It was on a quiet street even though steps away from Trafalger square. We love the location. It was close to Trafalger square (right next to the National Portrait Gallery), Leister square, Chinatown and Westminster (10 min walk). It was convenient coming home then just stepping out for food. Plenty of options. Chinatown was open until midnight-1am! Breakfast was great! English breakfast everyday plus cereals, fruit, juices and coffees.
Disliked: Bathrooms could use a little updating. Shower head sprayed water outside of the shower.

Disliked: They bumped 2 out of 5 reservations out. They told 2 of my colleagues who had booked rooms that they had no rooms. One arrived at midnight from France - sorry no room.
