Won’t recommend this hotel to...

Liked: Location
Disliked: We booked a family room back in December 2024 for our summer vacation in 2025, many months in advance. When we arrived, the room was completely different from the photos shown at the time of booking. The beds were relatively comfortable, but instead of the double bed we had paid for, there were two single beds. On top of that, my 13-year-old son was expected to sleep on a terrible sofa couch. While trying to push the beds together so my wife and I could sleep side by side, we found cut toenails under the bed, most likely from previous guests. That was simply unacceptable from a hygiene perspective.I went to reception to complain about the cleanliness, the sofa couch, and the difference between the room we booked and the one we received. The staff were polite, but their solution was to offer a room change only the next day, and regarding the sofa couch, they said there was nothing they could do. For families traveling with children, this is not a hotel that provides the minimum level of comfort expected.Things got even worse on the day of checkout. Although I had paid the full amount in advance, the hotel attempted to charge my card three times the value of the booking. Fortunately, I always use a dedicated Revolut card for hotel stays, which allowed me to catch the problem immediately. When I questioned the staff, they said it must have been a colleague’s mistake. However, while I was still standing there, another staff member kept trying to process charges on my card, sometimes for the same inflated amount and sometimes for lower amounts, as if testing whether the payment would go through. At that point, I had to firmly tell them that if they continued, I would take legal action. Only then did they stop and say not to worry, that they would sort it out.My advice is to avoid this hotel. The location may be good, but the hygiene, the level of service, and the charging practices are highly questionable.

We enjoyed it and it...

Liked: The beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and clean
Disliked: We were there during a heatwave so it was warm, we had a fan in our room, but it didn't do very much to keep the room cool.

Would not recommend

Liked: Room clean and spacious
Disliked: Computers down on arrival. Took 40 mins to check in, in 30 degrees heat with no air con. They got a fan 30 mins in. Lift is slowest in history. Asked to upgrade to junior suite, was charged the £30 for upgrade but it was a family room. I asked if the room was a family room, was told it was, so asked why paid for junior suite to be told it is actually suite as they decorated that floor! Breakfast not great, dry and not good choice. Overall disappointed and won't rebook

Hot room & no sleep,...

Liked: Location
Disliked: No air conditioning, room very hot. Had to have the windows open due to heat & central heating still on! With the windows open, the street noise outside was very loud all night . Therefore, we hardly slept.

Good overnight stay.

Liked: Only a mile from Euston station, a few places to have a coffee and breakfast nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bed was comfy. Easy to get ubers from.
Disliked: The room was quite basic. Quite noisy from the pub at the back.
