Clean but noisy room and...

Disliked: The room window had noisy air conditioning unit’s although no air con in the room but whatever they were extremely noisy and interrupted sleep, when asked by staff how stay was next morning checking out mentioned this and was asked if I stay again request another room, thanks joyful advice from someone who doesn’t give a flying flag!!

Beautiful hotel and a lovely...

Liked: The location in Bloomsbury park is fantastic and easy to find, the hotel manager was exceptionally helpful. The hotel is clean and breakfast was plentiful and hot.
Disliked: The lady on the reception desk was quite rude about early checkin when we arrived before 3 pm. We understood we were early but she did not need to be rude.

Excellent location and a great...

Liked: The Thistle London Bloomsbury Park is in a fantastic location which felt safe and convenient. It was a short to walk to catch the tube or bus and we could be anywhere within 15 mins. The bed was super comfortable and the large hotel windows had thick curtains so we slept well. A highlight was the breakfast buffet, with quality food and lots of options. The Chef/s were lovely too.
Disliked: The hotel had been booked for months and we knew it was 3pm check in, but we arrived 7.30am from Australia. I'd checked and the hotel allowed us to leave our bags there which was great and we wandered around Camden until we were ready to drop, but unfortunately they didn't have a room ready for us until nearly 4pm. The room they then gave us was TINY and had NO WINDOWS.We were away for a month so had 2 large suitcases, but the room was so small that we couldn't even open them in the room unless we moved to the top of the bed each time. We asked to be moved to a larger room and a different member of staff was happy to assist and moved us to a better room, which was still a little old and tired but had a window and space for our suitcases. Both room we saw are nothing like what's advertised on Booking.com or Thistle websites, which both show modern spacious rooms, so perhaps check when booking.

Quiet hotel in good location...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and apologetic when it took awhile to get us checked in. We were told on arrival that our room has been upgraded. There were chocolates in our room and a nice card saying we had free late check out. Quiet hotel, we did not hear much from other guests in the corridors. 6 min walk from tube station. Overall, would recommend and would stay again.
