Average
Liked: Comfy bed, prime location.
Disliked: Told over the phone that early check in is possible if the room is ready as we had plans to attend, upon arrival we were told that our room wasn’t ready (which is understandable) and we were told we’d be checked in as soon as the room was cleaned. We waited in the hotel lobby for two hours and after observing the same member of staff check in other parties entering the hotel after us. After I complained to any staff member he told us that rooms come available every 20 minutes and he was extremely apologetic, offering us a complimentary drink from the bar. However due to his colleagues incompetence we were extremely late for our engagements.

Brief stay but perfect for...
Liked: The room (24) was extremely compact. That suited me for half a night as I had to leave at 04:00 so wasn't needing a grand room. It was perfectly put together though in layout, lighting and facility - very well designed (George Clarke would have been amazed lol). Great large TV at end of bed! It was easily accessible on the ground floor and very close to reception / entrance / exit, which suited my arrival and departure times. It was surprisingly quiet, off its own small lobby (only shared with 25). The hotel is tucked away down a back street but has pleasant small bar and seating space. Again well designed.
Disliked: I hadn't expected such a small room (24) - no more than 2m wide by 3.5m long, which included the ensuite! Must be the smallest in the hotel by far and has no windows. It was over priced for its size and if I was staying a full day or more would have complained. Two sharing the room would be very uncomfortable or intimate, depending on your stance but probably problematic as only one side of the bed was accessible! Ideal for solo traveller on very short stay, as also little clothes hanging space - no cupboard just hangers on the wall.

Won't stay here again
Liked: Location is convenient, and the street itself is pretty quiet. Some nice tea, sandwich shops around the corner. Staff was helpful too.
Disliked: Room is tiny, seems pretty old. Breakfast was awful too
