Ordinary room but very nice...
Liked: check in was smooth. Nice helpful staff.Nice shower. good darkening shades. Very nice complimentary wine and cheese happy hour. Good value on the breakfast.Location was great.
Disliked: Was given an "accessible" room, which had a strange layout. Main part of room seemed cramped in order to accommodate wheel chair access to bathroom (unneeded for us). Bed and pillows were just ok. No minifridge.

Liked: Staff were friendly and location was amazing.
Disliked: The room was really small. We paid £155 and it was basic and tiny.

Perfection
Liked: Due to ill health I was more or less housebound for the last ten years. Due to an upturn in my health and large weight loss I’m now re entering society!! So being a music lover, returning to attending concerts is a must for me. We were attending a Sparks concert at RCH. I’m still not quick, mobility wise but building my walking up. To have the train station, hotel and venue all within achievable walking distance for me was wonderful. I googled hotels near RCH after booking concert and liked the look of Hotel Z. From the minute of arriving to leaving it was a pleasure. Your hotel does what it says on the tin, maybe showing my age now, that use to b a very famous tagline on a tv advert. It’s spotless, it’s modern, it’s extremely well priced and helpful staff. Wished I saw the young man’s name who booked me in because he went over and beyond when I asked him a couple of questions about the area. I’ve recently stayed at the Moxy at the Hydro. It is spotless, modern but I feel it takes advantage of its location and the prices are extortionate. I don’t like the feeling that any trader is trying to get as much money as they can from you. I do realise they are running a business and out to make money but for me their tactics leave a bit of a sour taste. And one or two of their staff made u feel a bit hesitant to approach them. Your staff that I had contact with couldn’t have been more helpful and gave the impression that they wanted to make sure my stay was the-best it could be. I will 100% be back and I have already recommended the hotel to lots of my friends. Thank you.
Disliked: Not blowing smoke up your bottoms !!! but there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Only one thing. When I thought it would be morning time it was still dark in the room. It was then pointed out to me, sarcastically by my partner there were no windows so where the bleeding hell did I expect the light to come from!!!! Doh. The penny dropped . If I had brains I’d b dangerous. But no windows was not an issue in the least
