Lovely hotel good location as...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Evening meal was limited on choice for our taste. Service was excellent staff were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: No wi fi so the apps on the tv didnt work. So not much choice to watch.

Our stay was pleasant

Liked: The breakfast and the location was lovely. Staff were lovely helpful and polite.
Disliked: The decorations in the rooms were tired and in need of some renovation . There was a leaking radiator in the bathroom and the toilet was difficult to flush at time

Liked: Hotel was clean & tidy , food was excellent and staff were friendly ,professional and always there to help should you need them ....Definitely recommend

Comfortable if somewhat dated.

Liked: Breakfast and dinner were very good. However choice of bread was limited. Brown bread was requested and supplied on second day.
Disliked: Decor was somewhat dated. Shower screen badly fitted. Entire hotel could do with upgrading.

Liked: The breakfast was good and the staff were very nice and helpfull
Disliked: The room was old and worn, very dusty. The bed was very uncomfortable the pillows were not very comfortable.The hotel is being refurbished so there was a lot of building work being done. They put us in one of the old rooms when they could have put us in one that had been refurbished.

Two weekend days. Don't fall...

Liked: I booked a two-day weekend stay and was offered a Genius Level 3 discount that included good breakfast. However, upon arrival, I was informed that while the continental breakfast was included, I would need to pay £12 per person for a cooked breakfast due to the Genius discount. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was subpar, and we opted not to purchase the cooked one. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant odor upon entry, although it wasn't overpowering and wasn't located in the center of the room. A room freshener would have been a welcome addition.
