Once a 15th century coaching Inn the White Hart has been converted to a modern comfortable inn with character and many period features. Located in the picturesque village of Stockbridge famous for the River Test which flows through the High Street this popular area is ideal for the golfer angler and country lover. Clean, modern and a great...

Liked: Breakfast was very good
Disliked: When having dinner the waiters seemed inexperienced. They didn't keep an eye on the table.

Pleasant stay in a lovely...

Liked: Excellent location and ample parking. The Full English was very tasty and I also enjoyed a nice dinner on our last evening.
Disliked: It's a small thing, but considering the proximity of the bathroom to the bed in the room, an old fashioned solid wooden door would be preferable to a frosted glass door like the one we had.

We wish we could have...

Liked: The room was tastefully decorated and comfy. The staff were very friendly. There was a nice selection of cold and cooked breakfast items and the coffee was good too. Portion sizes were generous and our Sunday roast was excellent.
Disliked: We liked it all!

Great at this price point.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Room was fine. Location good.Staff were great.
Disliked: At this price point all was expected. There are some better hotels in Stockbridge, but all were more expensive and we didn’t want to spend more.

Decent stop over en route

Liked: Easy to access from A303 before heading to London. Parking close to our road on was helpful. Staff were very helpful on arrival. Bedroom was really comfy and I’d literally buy that mattress - it was superb! Breakfast service was friendly.
Disliked: Evening Menu was a little limited to fried pub grub, just be aware of that. English Breakfast was overcooked (eggs particularly) but there were plenty options at the buffet available.
