Wonderful hotel

Liked: I was a bit uncomfortable about staying by myself, but the staff made me feel so welcome and at ease. I was also given a free upgrade to a garden room so made my stay even more special!

After a very busy 2...

Liked: The White Hart Royal is so charming, with a very kind and attentive staff. Our room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and it is just a short walk from the train station.

Pleasant stay, I would visit...

Liked: Morning breakfast was excellent. I liiked sitting the garden area and getting drinks and food at convenient times. Staff were nice.

Great bathroom

Liked: Very nice room, particularly the bathroom
Disliked: A little noisy on the front of the hotel so we couldn't keep the windows open as it was very hot.

Very unaccomodating and room smelt...

Disliked: Staff and management attitude - arrived from Dorset at 8.05pm after a traffic delayed journey (2.5 hours) and enquired if we could still get some food in the restaurant (which was still open with guests) only to be told that by the manager that we were too late as they had stopped serving at 8.00pm (only 5 minutes before). Not particularly accommodating in the circumstances.Our son lives in Moreton and we have eaten there a number of times - we won’t be going back.

Good location, but uncomfortable rooms

Liked: Good location.Although it was slightly problematic, I liked the history and age of the building. The floors in my room were not even due to the age, which I appreciated.
Disliked: I rented two rooms. The rooms were very warm, with no air conditioning, only fans. Since the rooms were on High Street, opening up the window was noisy. Not known to me is that when making the reservations, I might have been able to request rooms in their "newer" building with air conditioning. Not available at the time of our stay.We each could only find one plug available to use for charging devices, and that was after unplugging some of the items in the room. When asked, the receptionist did not know if, or where, additional plugs were in the room.
