Fabulous hotel, but wouldn't stay again due to music until 01.45am

Liked: Staff were fabulous. All very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms very spacious and very clean.Discount card for guests for 25% off drinks at the bar.Sunday roast quite possibly the best I've ever eaten.
Disliked: Noise from bar until 01.45am, not much sleep and check out at 10am after being kept awake firstly with the thumping music until 01.45am, then visitors leaving after that, taxis etc which wouldn't be happening if the music wasn't thumping until such an hour.Also, on booking.com advertised breakfast for 10, no breakfast at all.Lastly, apparently no cocktails during busy periods, even for guests staying at the hotel.

We were attending the Alton Towers Charity Run. Ideal location. We travelled from Durham whilst our friends that we met

Liked: Great rooms above a lively pub with great food. Ideal location in the centre of Uttoxeter with plenty of parking facilities.
Disliked: Only one negative comment which stops the property from being a 10/10. The shower heads needs a good clean. Apart from that there are no negatives.

Good hotel but very early check out.

Liked: Hotel was well decorated. Good sized bath in room.
Disliked: Check out time was 10.00am. Maid was knocking on door to remind us at ten past.Can't remember the last time stayed anywhere with such an early check out.Reminded me of 1960's seaside boarding house.

Great stay at the White Hart Hotel

Liked: We liked the spacious bathroom & the very comfy bed with the facilities in the room. My son particularly liked the bed side lights
Disliked: The WIFI didn't really work.

Exceptional

Liked: Food was good, nice atmosphere at the pub. The room was super clean and bed very comfy. Stuff very nice and available.
Disliked: People that couldn't park into the designated bay taking more space than what they need.

Liked: Easy to findRight in the villageGood distance from Alton Towers
Disliked: There were never any staff on reception. We had to go to the bar and ask someone to check us in. Then when we had questions and again when we needed to check out.Not much for vegans to eat in the bar. Rooms were very basic and not soundproof at all.
