A good stay

Liked: Location was good as we went to a wedding in the village .Food was excellent .Overall a good place to stay, staff were very friendly which makes a big difference
Disliked: Car park not big enough. Disappointing that the bar shut at 2 when there are guests.

Lovely rural pub in beautiful...

Liked: Very spacious, very friendly, helpful and flexible staff, good facilities, delicious food, excellent location. Peter was the perfect host.

Liked: It was a very nice place to stay, good atmosphere, great choice of both drinks and food. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and service was great.

Comfortable country hotel/pub with high...

Liked: Given a very warm welcome at this Country pub hotel in the pretty village of Martock. Large comfortable bedroom, pet friendly and an excellent menu in the bar/restaurant. Free parking in carpark or on street. A short drive from the A303.
Disliked: 3 flights of stairs to the bedroom

Golf weekend.

Liked: Excellent value for money, situated in a quiet rural village, the host Peter was an excellent guy, very friendly, perfect location for us as we played golf at a local course, lovely evening meal here and superb breakfast too ! Will definitely return !

Exceptional stay

Liked: The pub itself is wonderful, run by amazing people. We arrived at lunchtime for a 1 night stay meeting up with friends during the day, they also came over for food there that evening. The food was delicious and the village of Martock was so pretty.Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back again!
