Good

Liked: Nice food in the restaurant, comfy beds, good quality toiletries, plenty of towels, good water pressure and temperature in the shower, nice tea and proper coffee in the room, perfect location.
Disliked: Very dusty room the beams in the ceiling and corners of the room had dust bunnies everywhere, loo rolls weren't topped up at room refresh and it was very warm even with windows open despite being icy outside.

Pleasant

Liked: The staff were lovely. The room was a bit tight on space but perfectly acceptable. The food was tasty. Location abd parking very good.
Disliked: We'd had a full day of walking and had an early night before another full day the next day. Unfortunately, there was live music that was so loud it felt like it was in our room so I couldn't get to sleep. In the restaurant we were charged an extra £1 each for requesting mashed potato instead of chips. It seemed petty as it was available to go with other dishes so wasn't being cooked especially for us.

Comfortable and excellent value.

Liked: Room was comfortable, with good tea & coffee facilities and a decent-sized shower room. Very friendly & helpful staff. We dinner was very good pub food and served exceptionally quickly. Good breakfast. Very good value for money. In all, a no-problems stay in a cozy, friendly, village pub.
Disliked: The wifi could have been more straightforward, with just a simple password to log in, instead of one of those "sign in with all your details" deals: in the end I just used my phone's hot-spot instead.
