The Waverley Hotel

Two bedroom apartment turned out to be a house. Very roomy. A few tired spots but absolutely nothing that would spoil your stay. Would deffo stay again. We loved it.

Bloody brilliant.

Liked: Super easy to find, great parking, and central for town.The room was clean, tidy, and well set up…tea and coffee (4 of each and enough milk) with a real find…full sized mugs!It’s a family style hotel, exactly what we look for when traveling, much nicer than a corporate purple hotel.The staff were super friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was clean and tidy, well maintained too.Perfect for an overnight or weekend visit to family/friends. We will be back.
Disliked: Nothing. This was exactly what I would hope for at this price point…no swimming pool, or luxurious spa, but that doesn’t come at this price.If in doubt, stop here, support a lovely business.

Good for one night stay

Liked: Great location, staff were friendly.Good variety for breakfast.
Disliked: Very old and run down. I thought someone kept trying to break into the room but turns out it was the draft opening the door every time someone else opened their door or someone opened the passage door. Toilet would not flush properly

Excellent value for money -...

Liked: I thought it was great value for money, very good location and an excellent breakfast - the staff were on hand at all times and were polite and responsive. It is not the most luxurious stay but on a basis that you are using the hotel as a base for a visit or work, it is worth it.
Disliked: Toilet didnt flush that well and green light in the room but nothing to worry about
