Liked: The location and view.from our window were fantastic. Beds were comfortable,staff was helpful.

Deposit stolen

Disliked: The Main Elevator was broken and we had to use the staff one. Also, they stole my deposit, even thought nothing was damaged or broken. I tried to contact them multiple times, but they never reply. I would not recommend it

Disliked: - furniture a little bit old- a portion of the carpet was all the time wet, we didn't found the source

Disliked: Staff, with the exception of one member of staff were unhelpful and at times hostile to the most basic of requests. The first room we were allocated had a boarded up window when we'd paid extra for a corner room with a view.Second room we were moved to, didn't have enough towels, hand soap or any toilet paper. When I went down to the lobby, I was instructed how to make the request, rather than the member of staff actually helping by calling the service team. It took 6 attempts to get what we needed.Lobby was noisy with staff playing videos on their phone.Overall feeling of a place that is poorly managed, if there is any management at all. Feels like it was once a good place to stay.America is famous for customer service, the Washington didn't get the memo apart from the one helpful member of staff.I'm annoyed that this was listed as a top pick by booking.com.

Nice hotel, excellent location

Liked: Nice and charming hotel, excellent location, friendly staff,,departure to Statue of Liberty less than 15 minutes walk, WTC and Wall Street nearby
Disliked: Only one elevator in service, but not too much waiting time, less than one minute

Disappointing

Liked: The location is great close to many attractions and subway
Disliked: For a hotel with 4 stars the hotel seems a bit run down, there's a smell in the toilet and not very clean. The bed is very uncomfortable.
