The Spotlight on The Warrington Hotel

Victorian Charm Meets Music Weekend Comfort

A beautifully preserved Victorian pub and hotel in the heart of London's leafy Maida Vale, The Warrington Hotel offers a boutique stay with a laid-back vibe. Just a 5-minute walk from Maida Vale Underground Station, you're within easy reach of London's best concert venues, while also enjoying a quieter neighborhood feel. With bespoke rooms, charming décor, and an on-site pub, this is a local gem with personality.

Why Concert-goers love it

You're just a few Tube stops from major venues like the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the Roundhouse—making The Warrington an ideal base for music lovers. The peaceful residential setting means you can unwind after a loud gig, and the pub downstairs makes that post-show pint incredibly convenient. A 14:00 check-in gives you plenty of time to settle in before heading out, and public transport options nearby mean late-night returns are hassle-free.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish yet relaxed base near the action
  • Solo travelers chasing their dream concert experience
  • Couples turning a gig into a romantic London weekend
  • Fans who like a quiet, cozy place to crash afterward
  • Budget-conscious music lovers seeking value with charm

Food and Drink Options

The on-site restaurant and pub serves up hearty meals and a strong drinks list, perfect for pre- or post-show bites. While there's no 24-hour room service, the pub stays open late on weekends, and you'll find several walkable eateries nearby. Breakfast is available, so you can refuel after a night out.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, the pub downstairs often has a lively locals' vibe, and you're just a short hop from some of London's most iconic gig spots. Nearby, find neighborhood bars and lounges in Maida Vale and Little Venice for a low-key drink before or after the show.

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated rooms. Many love staying here for the quiet area and easy access to public transport. The pub food is often mentioned as a pleasant surprise, and the historical character of the building adds to the appeal.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that being above a pub can mean a bit of noise on busy nights—but most say it’s nothing a good gig-goer can’t sleep through. There’s no lift, so pack light if you're on an upper floor.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want a stylish, relaxed and characterful stay with easy access to London venues, The Warrington Hotel hits all the right notes.

Fabulous one-night stay at the...

Liked: We arrived as a group of four ladies and received a very friendly welcome from the proprietor. We were shown to our rooms by a young female member of staff who was very friendly and courteous and asked if we needed any help with our luggage. The rooms far exceeded our expectations. The room looked as if it had recently been decorated to a high standard. Everything was fresh and clean and the bed was super comfy. The room was large and even had a double-ended, roll-top freestanding brass bath in the corner of the room together with a floor-to-ceiling ornate mirror. I will add that it also had an en-suite which included a shower. Our other room, albeit smaller, was again finished to a high standard with a very comfortable bed, an ensuite, and was again immaculately clean. The hotel oozes character and was ideal for sitting outside at one of many tables shaded by the surrounding trees.
Disliked: You do have to be quite fit as there is no lift and depending on which floor your room is on the only way up is by the stairs which are quite steep. However, as mentioned above we received a genuine offer of help with our bags. There is no Air Con in the rooms, however, three fans were provided.
