It was meh at best…...

Liked: Waitress was kind enough to share the Wifi password so I could do some work in the room, the staff was friendly and pleasant to talk to, helpful. Rooms have an exceptional amount of sockets, so you can charge all your devices all at the same time
Disliked: Lots of dust in the room, any surface that’s below the eye level was caked. No hot water in the room which I noticed at night, but thought that that won’t be the case in the morning. Was an unpleasant surprise at 6am to find that I still had no hot water. Also the rooms are under the restaurant so if you’re a light sleeper I would suggest getting earplugs as you’ll hear everything dragged through the floor like the hoover and the chairs. It’s okay once the restaurant closes though.

Relaxing, friendly and helpful. Will...

Liked: It was a lovely comfortable room with amazing views over the golf course. We had a meal before going out and it was beautiful. I had chilli and my husband had the pie. We also had breakfast the morning after. I had a veggie breakfast and my husband the full English. It was delicious.
Disliked: Nothing.

Fine for a quick overnight...

Liked: The staff are exceptionally friendly and it’s in a visually great location. I did like that you received bottles of water in the room.
Disliked: My room was compact to say the least. Being situated under the bar, it felt quite dark and the blinds looking out onto the golf course wouldn’t open. I did feel like I needed to bring my anti-bac wipes just to give the place a once over and you could see where drinks had previously been spilt over the walls. They do warn you that it could be noisy from being close to the bar, but they don’t warn you that you’re also close to a shooting range which perks up early on a Sunday morning!
