It's a shame but it...

Liked: The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent - right in front of the pier. Also, there's a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and a lounge.
Disliked: The hotel is on top of a pub and the music would not stop until very late. We were lucky to stay at the top floor and still the music was too loud.On top of that, we were woken up at 6am because of a fire alarm, it was a false alarm and the staff did not know what to do to stop it, meanwhile all the guests of the hotel, including a baby, ended up in the street for over 30 minutes until one of the guests managed to sort it out. No apologies from the management followed.Unfortunately, I left with a feeling that it is a very insecure and mismanaged place to stay and I would not recommend it in spite of the great location and cleanliness.

Clean and Comfortable in a...

Liked: Staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent (close to the hoverport, station, ferry and buses). Also close to town and some very good restaurants. The bar has well kept real ale. We would definitely stay again. Very good value for money. The room was small but well arranged.
Disliked: The stairs might be a problem for some (fine for us). Minor thing - couldn't find a hair dryer.

Amazing location & value for...

Liked: Location was fantastic, near the Esplanade and just outside the bus station.I also loved the kitchen and dining area - those were super pleasant surprises.
Disliked: Because of hoverboats just outside it was quite hard to sleep in early morning hours, but this is really minor complaint.

Superb

Liked: Very nice, clean, comfortable room. Good location right on the seafront and near to lots of pubs and restaurants.
Disliked: Could have done with a blackout curtain as street lights were very bright and right outside our window.
