A 30-minute drive from Birmingham International and Coventry airports The Throckmorton is set in the tranquil Warwickshire countryside. It offers free WiFi and a traditional restaurant and bar. The Throckmorton is a former coaching inn and still retains its original features and charm. It offers both traditional and contemporary rooms all with a TV private bathroom and free tea and coffee. All bedroom were refurbished in April 2016. Placed in Alcester the hotel is within a 30-minute drive of the lively centers of Worcester and Birmingham. The Throckmorton is surrounded by picturesque footpaths which you can reach by crossing the river from the hotel grounds. Coughton Court the National Trust property is 5 minutes' walk away. The bar serves a range of wines beers and spirits from around the world and there is a selection of real local ales to choose from. Breakfast is served every morning with a cooked breakfast and Continental options available.

Good

Liked: The food in the evening was very good.Plenty of free parking.A nice outside area to sit and relax.Quite a good central place to visit and get to other areas.Staff were really lovely.
Disliked: Room was much smaller than expected.Smell of damp in the bathroom.Wasn’t overly impressed with the breakfast, bacon was very dry and leathery

Cheeky night away!

Liked: The staff are so inviting! The food was again amazing, this was our 3rd stay!! We had a wonderful walk across the adjoining field, which took us to Coughton Court.
Disliked: Nothing!

Pleasant and great location

The worst place I have...

Liked: Nothing the location was beautiful everything about inside this place put me off ever going back
Disliked: Couldn't use the shower as it was riddled in mould massive leak in bathroom tiles lifted on floor the smell of damp was horrendous the light shade was covered in cobwebs that were years old the staff were just meh didn't look like they wanted to be there and the breakfast was awful I wouldn't stay here again and quite frankly would like a refund tbh

Exceptional

Liked: Everything. The room was perfect. The bed was huge and extremely comfy. So peaceful. We overlooked fields with animals. The evening meal was amazing. Ragu and fish and chips. And the breakfast was sublime. Will definitely visit again
Disliked: Nothing
