Disliked: It took over 5 minutes for the shower to get Luke warm, and the pressure was just a disgrace. Condensation was so bad in the bathroom that there were small puddles in the morning on the windowsill.Breakfast was running late, and they only offered tea and coffee. I had a very firm and abrupt no from the waiter when I asked about hot chocolate. I was not impressed at all considering the grandeur and the beauty of the building.

Handy stop on Three Lochs...

Liked: 15 minute walk from Tarbet and Arrochar station on Loch Lomond shore. Grand historic frontage. Extensive buffet breakfast. Super friendly staff.
Disliked: Grand historic frontage and magnificent reception stairway hide labyrinthine corridors to rather basic if spotless accommodation. Neighbouring room noise.
