Great place, but bar was...

Liked: Very good rooms and bathroom/shower, great location and very nice facilities overall.
Disliked: A bit noisy outside in the evening with a lot of peopl drinking and smoking near the htoel window well into the evening.

An ideal overnight spot when...

Liked: It was very hot and the air was still - extremely rare for the UK! A table fan had been placed in my room so I could sleep well. I'm grateful for that thoughtfulness.
Disliked: All was good, thank you.

Liked: Good location and uncomplicated access to property. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was decent.
Disliked: I was given a room at the front of the property and there was constant traffic noise until after 12 midnight and then from very early in the morning. Also farm traffic between those hours. Onsite parking was advertised but there was actually very little parking available at the property, although there is other parking available in town with minimal cost.
