Disappointing stay

Liked: Staff are friendly. Centrally located and close to local wedding venues.
Disliked: Hotel is in need of maintenance. More than one problem with the water supply while we were there. No cold water on one occasion, and then the shower intermittently runs hot. Our room door was difficult to open, and we were informed that the latch was awaiting repair.Room and bathroom overall look tired and in need of updating.

Disliked: No breakfast available due to lack of chef

Liked: Staff were accomadating and friendly and went out of there way
Disliked: Could have done with directions to find the car park, but o be honest when I called the hotel the lady who answered was really helpful. Suggestion: maybe post something on your website, map or simple directions . Got back to my room at 10:30pm and none of the table lights worked or the tv, couldn’t figure it out and was too tired to call reception again. For some bizarre reason in the morning when I woke at 6am they were now working!!

Liked: The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Location is brilliant and car parking is good.

Liked: Lovely character filled building. Large, clean rooms . Big comfortable bed , high-quality furnishings, and a bath in the bathroom! Buffet breakfast with. fresh ingedients and alot of choice.
