The location is great. We walked to Mercury Ballroom and also 4th Street Live! Our room was charming and clean. Very nice place!
Liked: The location and history is impeccable. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Disliked: Parking is expensive for overnight. We didn't park in the parking garage.

Good
Liked: Love the beauty it entails!
Disliked: No amenities in the room... Very plain just a bed and TV pretty much. For the price it should at least have a fridge.

This was the most inconvenient...
Liked: The bed was comfortable. The Mail Drop chute was old and lots of fun to use. The decor was opulent, but opulent doesn’t mean comfortable.
Disliked: Everything was inconvenient. The room was small and the bathroom, tiny, with a small space to put toiletries. The trash cans were too thin. The cold water in the sink did not work. The only place to fill our water bottles was in the basement. There was one chair with wheels and no place to put suitcases, so they went on the floor and we had to step over them. There was live music right outside our window 24/7. The breakfast cost $22 per person and we don’t eat much, so the only option in the hotel was a new room called the marketplace. They had friendly staff and good light breakfast options but no table and chairs from which to eat. And, there was no place to eat in our room. The staff at the front desk were surly and never helpful. I asked for a map of Louisville and they grudgingly dug one out of a cupboard. It was expensive to park our car and tip the valets.

Seelbach is a poor value
Liked: Staff was very nice.
Disliked: Room was small and old. A/C did not work well, couldn't get room below 72. Bathroom was old, makeup mirror poorly placed, shower was meh. Maid service didn't make up room one day. Restaurant was pricey and food was too salty. Breakfast buffet was mediocre with not many choices. Homeless people across the street. I would never go back to this hotel.
