Quiet village location with lovely...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast, with a very flexible attitude to what you could pick. The bed was comfortable and the room well-equipped with kettle, coffee machine, iron, hairdryer. Very nice bathroom and shower.
Disliked: It's great to have little tables to sit at outside each room, but if you're walking past to your own room it can feel like you're invading other guests' territory. Not a big problem!

Pleasant and convenient one night...

Liked: Friendly service for a one night business stop off. Staff were attentive. Reasonably good food and very quiet at night.
Disliked: Room very dusty with cobwebs (see pic). No milk offered in mini fridge for coffee. No takeaway cups for breakfast in the bar (had to get off early so this was a shame).

Value for money, great location...

Liked: Excellent food in the restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast.
Disliked: A bit more cleaning and tidying of the grounds is needed

Liked: Our room was clean and homely . Food was excellent . Great value for money.
Disliked: Nothing

Lovely location, very friendly staff.

Liked: The room was really nicely decorated. Radio was on and it was welcoming. Huge bed, actually two singles (I think) pushed together - but very comfortable.
Disliked: There’s a little fridge in the room. There was a little sign saying there was fresh milk in the fridge. There wasn’t any. A minor problem, but we didn’t notice until the morning. We ate in the restaurant. Nice menu but the food was pretty average. Apart from that, all good.
