The Rokxy Townhouse - Kings Cross

Ideal position, warm welcome ,...

Liked: The position of the hotel, so close to King’s Cross, was ideal and the early check - in process and code for access made it all very convenient, especially as we were able to leave our luggage at the companion hotel. We were warmly welcomed and all the little extras made our stay feel special. The bed was very comfortable and the early morning tea much appreciated.
Disliked: Just one thing really and that would have been a handbasin in the bathroom area. Much as we loved and appreciated the extra touches, the free bar and the welcome gift, I think I would have traded all those to be able to wash my hands and clean my teeth in the ensuite, rather than the kitchenette.

Fun and quirky small hotel...

Liked: This is a quirky little hotel off Argyll Square and only 5 minutes walk from The Eurostar terminal. All guests are rock stars and the music theme includes minibars made in old Marshall Amp cases. The security with codes sent by text on day of arrival was good. Welcome gifts were a treat! Thank you.
Disliked: Perhaps unfair to the hotel, it was a very hot day so room was difficult to cool as no A/C but there was a big fan that helped.

Perfect location and set up...

Liked: Great design of the rooms - compact but nicely done and the fan was perfect for a steamy summer night
Disliked: Bathroom was perhaps a tiny bit too small but hey it was only one night. Would have struggled if longer

Good hotel with wonderful staff.

Liked: The staff were outstanding. Very kind, helpful and polite. Excellent location - close to kings Cross but in a calm location and very close to restaurant and cafés. Great location to access westend shows.Room was clean and well equipped.Staff provide some free snacks, drinks, morning tea and a little present. Left luggage facilities were super helpful.

Liked: Location to King’s Cross. Booked very late/ last minute and had access to the room easily.Cute welcome gift waiting
Disliked: The room was as advertised - very small. I felt for price and compared to ‘brand’ name hotels I would have been able to find a bigger room for same price. Although clean, I would say some decorative items need a dust/ clean. I would say room was surface clean.
