My favorite and most worthy...

Liked: Spacious room, clean, nice shower, with mini fridge, good shower and good amenities, free bottle of water that could be refilled (we used ours for all whole 15 days trip), friendly staff, super strategic location, very near Gran Central Station, nice cafés nearby and also easy to do things by walk.

Extremely disappointing experience – not...

Disliked: From the start, communication with the hotel was terrible. They didn’t respond to emails or messages (via Booking, Messenger, or direct email) even after several attempts.I checked in online in advance and submitted my credit card, but when my partner arrived before me, she wasn’t allowed to check in. I had emailed authorization multiple times, but the front desk still refused — and treated her with complete disrespect. It took a manager to finally step in and allow her access.The room was nothing like the photos: it smelled bad, the AC was incredibly loud, the space felt old and unclean, sheets were dirty and worn out, and housekeeping never came the next day. The rollaway bed for our child was broken, noisy, and uncomfortable — it was impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. No help with luggage was offered either.For the price, this was a terrible experience. Poor service, poor communication, poor maintenance. I do not recommen

Great central location, could do...

Liked: Excellent central location in NYC for doing the tourist stuff and shopping. Room size was good - didn’t feel cramped and looked bigger than alternatives we considered. Minimal noise from other roomsNumber of USB charging points
Disliked: Think a few small points could turn a good hotel into a great hotel:We stayed for a week (possibly longer than most) and there wasn’t enough hanging space for clothes - and the space there was didn’t allow trousers to hang fully (we’re average height)Not enough room in bathroom for toiletries so you end up spreading them across all surfaces in the room so nothing is to handTemperature of shower was extreme - either very hot or stone cold and trying to get an interim would lead to the water pressure dropping and causing banging noiseSurprised there was no kettle or tea / coffee provisions in roomBefore arrival we emailed to ask for a ballpark cost for a taxi from JFK to the hotel and the response was that it would be on the meter but no indication of cost. Disappointed to learn after arrival that there is a standard $70 taxi fare for this route
