It's all about the right...

Liked: Comfortable accommodation with yummy food right under your nose.Breakfast was delicious, vegetarian option of Full English was very appreciated.Dogs allowed and welcomed.Large car park.Staff was very friendly and helpful.We have foolishly forgot a piece of luggage and Neil have done everything and more to get it to us. Not all heroes wear capes, some of them just work in Red Lion.
Disliked: Nothing worth mentioning.

Good room, good food, excellent...

Liked: Good location with parking (free) all staff were excellent and helpful. Really enjoyed the food good beer also. Room was also very comfortable, would strongly recommend the Red Lion at Hawkshaw.
Disliked: Have to say for me and my wife you have it right.

Unlikely to stay again unless...

Liked: Plenty of parking. Near to where we were visiting.
Disliked: Room needed updating. Bedding. Bars on one window. Kitchen extractor next to other window which was loud.

Disliked: Location on busy main road, so noisy. Interior smelled of fried food and not particularly inviting. Menu for evening meal disappointing
