Liked: The room was clean, smelt clean, and was really comfortable. It was a short walk to the train station. Breakfast was from a menu and very tasty. Overall, it was very good value.

Liked: It is a lovely place to stay, the rooms are generous and the staff are very friendly. The food was yummy.
Disliked: The location of the toilet in the bathroom, I kept hitting my elbow on the wash basin

Liked: Proximity to the port is good - about ten minutes away.A good sized room.The night entrance is good for avoiding the bar.
Disliked: The room decor was past its best, with cracked and peeling paint, and not all of the lights worked (needs an audit of the room state then remedial action).Several days before we arrived I received a message regarding our forthcoming stay; the message said the restaurant gets busy so it's advisable to book ahead. I requested a table for four at 8.00 p.m. via email and received a resonse accepting the request. I was impressed by the efficiency and had high hopes.... At checkin I confirmed we'd be returning to the bar for 8.00 p.m. for dinner and received acknowledgement - all good so far (although the bar had been noisy as we passed through.At the prescribed time we arrived in the bar to find the noise hadn't subsided (it was the Thursday before Good Friday so it was very busy) and all appropriate tables were taken. We departed and found dinner elsewhere. We also chose to take breakfast elsewhere, which isn't how I prefer to do things but the evening's disappointment hadn't subsided by then.To be fair - when we arrived the gentleman checking us in seemd to be under some stress, the bar was very busy and he probably could have done with some help rather than additional challenges with everything coming at once. On another Thursday, without the bank holiday customer onslaught, it would perhaps be fine.We liked the room and its facilities; it was quiet away from the bar, and felt secure.

Great little spot in Cosham!

Liked: Staff were great, let us check in early so we didn’t have to take our suitcases everywhere. The room was clean and quiet despite the pub below (highly recommend having the hearty Irish breakfast, Sunday roast and fish & chips!). Was central to the shops and convenient for us visiting family
Disliked: Was a bit tight with our suitcases but would be fine if you just had an overnight bag

Comfy stay for one night

Liked: Check in & check out was friendly and easy as always, room was clean & tidy. Would recommend staying here
Disliked: This room wasn't as well maintained as the other rooms I've stayed in here, also quite small
