Disliked: The hotel rooms look dull and depressing, unlike the bright and pleasant photos shown on Booking.com. Be aware that if you book a studio without a river view (even though those rooms look nice in the photos), you might end up staring at a gray wall, as we did. When we tried to change the room, we were told we’d have to pay extra. In general, rooms with a good view are limited and come with additional charges for things like view, balcony, etc.The spa is located right next to the lobby, which is very inconvenient. From the smell of chlorine as you enter the hotel to walking to the spa in a bathrobe while people with suitcases are checking in and out — it really affects the atmosphere. The pool is also not very user-friendly. The only good time to use it is around lunchtime, and everything has to be booked in advance.Housekeeping was inconsistent. The first time, cleaning took around 40 minutes at 3 PM, and we had to wait in the lobby. They didn’t always refill water, and there were no clear notes or explanations at check-in about linen change policy. Twice we left a note asking not to make the bed, on day 3, and the one time we didn’t leave a note, assuming they would change it — they didn’t even make the bed (because we had left a note earlier!)We also had a disappointing experience at the hotel restaurant. Despite there being only a few occupied tables, we had to wait a long time for everything — even the couvert. One of the main dishes arrived with a hair in it; although they replaced it, the delay meant we had to eat separately.At checkout, we were offered a discount in response to the above issues, but it turned out to be equal to the amount we had already paid to switch rooms — because we didn’t want to spend 4 nights staring at a walls. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The service and quality do not match the price.

Liked: The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. Hotel is very nice, the location and the view over the river is the best.
Disliked: The spa facilities close rather early.The doors to the corridors by the rooms are very heavy and hard to use.

Out of this world- Not...

Liked: I can’t rave about this property enough. Their service, housekeeping, turn down service EVERYTHING was incredible. They apologized for not giving us a room w the view of the river, but what they gave us was a room with this huge (shared) garden and when you walk outside you can seee the river anyway. Absolutely the best. We got a 2 bdr hotel room (apartment?) and it has 2 huge and beautiful en-suite rooms with the living area and kitchen in the middle. Absolute heaven because we have kids and by having separate rooms which are apart really helps with sleeping (for the adults). All the rooms have tv so the kids can watch tv if they wake up early. There is a free kids club which is a blessing (sorry kids!)Buffet breakfast (included) was AWESOME.We went up to the rooftop bar for food one day but my kid was ill (not from the food just to be clear) and we had to rush back to our room. They kindly packed all the food up for us and send it to our room. We are very blessed to be able to stay here!
Disliked: I am being so very picky here but the gym was nice but don’t have enough weights machine and no towels- that being said the staff immediately went to get us some.Again nit picking but turn down service the first night we got snacks but the second night we didn’t. Also the guest slippers could have been more comfy.
