Shabby and old

Liked: Good position and bed was clean and comfortable. Aircon was good and staff very friendly.
Disliked: Downstairs and stairwell stunk Very old and run down. No elevator but lucky he saw our age and changed our room to the first floor. Breakfast was very ordinary if you can brave the smell. Tables and decor shabby and whole place needs a deep clean. You have to check I at the bar between them serving. However staff were very nice.

Great location and property really...

Liked: Excellent location adjacent to Paddington Station where we caught train to stay with family in Bath. Walked to Kensington Gardens down the road and Bayswater.

Liked: The room was very clean and cool (staff made sure to leave the AC on in preparation for our arrival). The staff was very helpful and communicative, even after midnight when we couldn't quite figure out how to open the downstairs door lol. The bed was very comfortable, surprisingly not loud considering the location, and had blackout curtains. There's a TV with all the streaming channels for you to log into. The room felt very high-end for the price. The location is less than 5 mins away from the tube and only one line away from Euston station. Very central to all the locations we were visiting. Also, right below is a convenience store and multiple smoothie/natural juices and coffee shops!The staff also lets you check in your bag before and after check-in and check-out. It was great having the experience of staying above a pub!
