A good stay!
Liked: Good location, helpful staff, free water / sparkling water ! Clean :)
Disliked: A little disappointed! Last time we stayed here for £100 cheaper and we were in such a nice room, this time cost us way more and the room was TINY with a very small window and noise at night. Quite let down after our initial experience staying here was 10/10, however I’m quite disappointed with the room standard this time. We came back as we thought we would be able to have the same standard as last time. I guess it may be peak season now so you guys must have more guests to accommodate than last time. Will still come back for our next visit, just hope we get a nicer room!

Very good
Liked: The availability of cold drinking water (still and sparkling) was great, always on tap.The ambient music is good.The breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: The weather was EXTREMELY HOT but there was NO AIRCON in the room, this made it very UNCOMFORTABLE. The room was also very cramped.

totally cool boutique hotel, quirky....
Liked: rooms were very nicely done in tune with the period of the building
Disliked: no AC, and the windows weren’t fully open able. heat wave was 80degree nights.breakfast/coffee not available til 7.30am - seems v.late to me.

Liked: Breakfast, lovely helpful staff. excellent location. clean. I felt safe.

Brilliant location, friendly, helpful staff...
Liked: Quirky. Very friendly staff and good food. The fact they serve Monmouth is a good sign. The standard of cleanliness was excellent.
Disliked: The first room we were shown was dark and stuffy, not sure they should be charging the same price for that as for the other rooms. They were very good about moving us though.
