The staff were excellent and helpful. I will absolutely stay at the Wyndham Pier Point in Ventura, CA again.

Disliked: I told the front desk I had a special needs child and we needed ground level. We were given lower level. There is no elevator, so we struggled getting her up and down the stairs. Our room was disgustingly filthy with hair in the tub, and very badly stained carpet i didn't want my toddler even walking on. There was a hole in the wall. We paid close to 800 for two nights. I felt completely ripped off this time I had other stays here that were wonderful but this time it was bad. We were awoken at 5 am the second day to a man vomiting loudly for quite awhile. (not the hotel fault but annoying nonetheless). The painting in the hallway was falling off the wall and stayed that way for the duration of the stay. I definitely wont be back.

Liked: The room was at best very tired and felt like it hadn’t been upgraded from the eighties It was next to a motorway and the traffic was very noisy all night

An excellent place for visiting...

Liked: The Pierpont is located in an excellent spot. It is a 5 minute drive to Ventura's fabulous Main Street. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier.
Disliked: My room was too close to Highway 101 and the noise of the car traffic bothered me.

Disliked: Minimal amenities. Terrible breakfast no lobby. No restaurant. No nothing. Under construction for 5 years.

Liked: Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Nice staff.
Disliked: The breakfast was good but not well attended to by the staff. Every time I went , everything was empty including the coffee. No fruit or yogurt available.
