Great stay at amazing location!!

Liked: Had a great stay! Requested a room with a bath, which we got! We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in (as well after check out) and our luggage was waiting in our room when we were able to check-in!The location was also perfect! Walking distance from Picadilly circus and multiple stations/bus stops. We were afraid the room might be a bit noisy because it's on a busy street, but the isolation is amazing and we barely heard anything eventhough our room was on the street side. The staff was also amazingly kind, we felt really welcome and are planning to use this location as our standard pick hotel
Disliked: Not able to use streaming services on the TV. The bath button was a bit loose, but that's only a small thing.

Fancy hotel at the start...

Liked: Fancy hotel at the start of Soho. Leicester square is only 5 minutes away and other major underground stations (such as Tottenham Court Road or Piccadilly Circus) are a 10-minute walk away. We didn't expect the hotel to be so fancy, so it was very good value for money!Decent rooms with excellent beds. We asked the staff at the reception not to have our room cleaned every single day. They followed up on it. Only, when the room was cleaned, they did change all the towels, which really wasn't necessary after only 2 days. The reception provides water and bubbles when passing by, and a snack. The hotel provides refillable bath and shower gel in the bathroom (also see the negative items).
Disliked: The biggest disadvantage was the noise on the street. Those electric rickshaws all have stereo systems at their loudest - and there are lots of them in this neighbourhood :( But we knew that, so we only have ourselves to blame. Besides, they don't make noise all night long, just until very late. Do be aware of that!As said before, the staff did follow up on our request not to have our room cleaned every day. But they did change the towels after only 2 days, which wasn't necessary nor asked. The hotel provides refillable bath and shower gel in the bathroom, but overall sustainability is rather low. We received a gift bag when checking out, but it had 4 tiny plastic bottles in it - which we absolute do not approve of! That shows us the sustainability-mindset is not yet fully developped as it should. The hotel room also has expensive bottled water on sale in the room, for example. There were 2 small bottles of prosecco in the bags and we received a free bottle of wine in the room. My partner is a total abstainer, so please don't do that if we didn't ask for it. Just lower your hotel room prices instead, for example ;)

A fantastic birthday treat for...

Liked: We received a warm welcome in reception and was escorted to our room. The hotel room was clean and well presented with a large wet room. A well stocked fridge and additional snacks plus complimentary water and fruit. On departure, a complimentary bag with prosecco was a lovely gesture and appreciated. An all round brilliant place to stay.
Disliked: The coffee shop next door was where you could purchase breakfast which consisted of a range of pastries and not a lot else except tea and coffee. They only had overnight oats as a healthy option. I would have liked to have seen things like fruit pots, yogurts or mini cereal boxes.
