Disliked: Booked without reading reviews.Towels were stainedOur unit list power esky in the evening, power on every where else in the unit. Spoke to a employer they cloud mitr so anything until the owner arrived at 8am. Very inconvenient as we could charge our phones. And had to shower with the bathroom door open so we had light.. TV was a very small , very old computer screen. Walls were paper thin, we were on 2nf floor and heard people talking on the bottom floor.

Don't book here. Worst place...

Liked: Nothing. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in the UK and the worst I have ever booked through Booking.comI'm absolutely shocked that they took my money. Completely appalled at the state of the room.
Disliked: Everything. It was awful. Dirty and smelly. Stained towels, bedsheets, carpet. Walls were covered in scribbles. Toilet and bathroom weren't clean and smelled. Debris in the bed and rubbish between the mattress and on the floor. Based on the room, definitely didn't eat in the restaurant.We had driven 12 hours from North East Scotland and all we wanted was something to eat and a good nights sleep. I slept on top of the covers as the sheets were marked. Even the shower in the morning didn't work - had it cold.

Liked: I found the management and staff a real pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I stayed in a double room with a full sized bath which suited me very well. The room was very clean.
Disliked: Nothing which I think is worth mentioning.

Disliked: Tv control kept having issues and v low water pressure for the shower

A great place to stay

Liked: We had a 2 night stay Bed was really comfortable,the room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. Tea and coffe facility in room. We opted to have the cooked breakfast £10 per person and were very glad we did! Food was really tasty and well prepared, great cheese omeletteThe Peacock has a Malaysian restaurant The Captains Curry was fantastic!! Staff were so friendly. There is also ample car parking. A really good stay. Kenilworth Castle is well worth a visit.
Disliked: nothing to complain about.

Liked: Excellent welcome & big, good value breakfast. Secure parking. Characterful interior. Attentive staff who clearly care about the hotel & service.
Disliked: Some fittings in bathroom need updating; some bedding a little old & worn.
