Liked: This is a nice Hotel with friendly staff. It is not upscale but if you are looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay, this is your place.

Liked: Location was good. There were some open grassy areas with a swing, picnic table and grill, which we used to spend time outside while watching the solar eclipse.

Liked: The room was clean, the bed was very soft but comfortable, the one person we saw at the facility for our three day stay was most helpful and pleasant. Parking for my handicapped wife was close enough, and there was a ramp to get to room level so she didn't have to take the steps. There were added electric plug-ins near the bed for our modern number of devices.
Disliked: The room needs major updates. The door closed fully, but the security latch wouldn't slide into the catch to assure safety. The shower plumbing moved from the wall, the shower faucet was very loose, setting water temp was difficult. The soaps provided were very thin bars that would break while taking them from the package, almost worthless for bathing. One day we were provided washcloths that were not much thicker than a hankerchief, assumed that the fullness of the motel led to reaching into very old stock. I acquired washcloths for the final morning shower, told the woman that no cleaning was needed or wanted, and still the room was cleaned and our spare soap to make up for the poor item provided was gone, and we were left with only one bath towel for two people, not noticed until early the following morning. I dryed with a hand towel and an extra (??) floor towel.
