Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Jessica, Old Lyme, CT

The view from our room was amazing even though we were only on the 4th floor. Had a perfect view of NYC. We were only there for one night to see a show but overall the experience was great. I would just never use their shuttle service again if I ever returned.

Liked: The room was amazing and the view was fantastic. Plus, the staff was very courteous when we first arrived - they even called to make sure our room was satisfactory about 10 minutes after we checked in.
Disliked: Used their shuttle to our show and ended up standing out in the cold for 45 minutes trying to catch one to get back. The person never parked in the same spot so even though we were first in line 3 times, we didn't run fast enough to make it. Tried to call the hotel and couldn't get through.

I booked to go see a Giants game. I understand the devastation of huricane Sandy but I called ahead 3 days and was told that they had power heat and no issues. I arrived on Sunday to find out they had no power and no heat. I am just upset that I drove 300 miles to find out I was lied to. They did not even offer to give me a discount.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: I don't expect to be lied to.

Really great!

Liked: It was really close to the venue of the concert and affordable! The room was nice and cozy and clean! The view was also really nice! The hotel overall was very nice.
Disliked: The area around is busy so if you’re going there for an event, concert, or to the mall you could have a hard time getting out.

Extremely dissatisfied. I believe a...

Liked: Great location!
Disliked: -We called prior to arrival requesting an early check in which we were told we could. Upon arrival (approximately 2:30pm) we were told our room would be ready around 3:30. At 3:30 we were then rudely told rooms had “not been assigned yet and we couldn’t check in until 4:00”…we were then made to wait along with at least 50 other people as there was a concert in the area and was why we were staying there. The customer service staff was extremely unresponsive and unhelpful. -We ordered 4 drinks from the bar which totaled $50 and were just barely over half full and the bar area was messy with filthy tables and had only been open 45 minutes. Pictures attached to this email. -We ordered room service and 3 out of the 4 meals were wrong. 1 we were not aware of until my daughter returned from the concert at 1:30am. I called room service about 2 of them which resulted in them bringing replacements, 1 of which now had chicken that was not fully cooked. We did not eat them. I did discuss this with the manager the next morning and I was issued a refund for $51.18, however the full bill totaled $68.24 so I’m not sure why I was issued only a partial refund. -There was not a microwave in the room and only one microwave in the lobby for guest use. -There were no working ice machines on at least 3 floors (ours, the one above, and the one below). -There were several spots of mold in the shower and the entire faucet of the sink shifted when turning it on and off.
