The Park Hotel at Meadowlands

The view from our room was amazing even though we were only on the 4th floor. Had a perfect view of NYC. We were only there for one night to see a show but overall the experience was great. I would just never use their shuttle service again if I ever returned.

Liked: The room was amazing and the view was fantastic. Plus, the staff was very courteous when we first arrived - they even called to make sure our room was satisfactory about 10 minutes after we checked in.
Disliked: Used their shuttle to our show and ended up standing out in the cold for 45 minutes trying to catch one to get back. The person never parked in the same spot so even though we were first in line 3 times, we didn't run fast enough to make it. Tried to call the hotel and couldn't get through.

I booked to go see a Giants game. I understand the devastation of huricane Sandy but I called ahead 3 days and was told that they had power heat and no issues. I arrived on Sunday to find out they had no power and no heat. I am just upset that I drove 300 miles to find out I was lied to. They did not even offer to give me a discount.

Liked: Nothing.

Liked: The location was perfect.
Disliked: The staff were dismissive, not helpful. Nothing seemed to be working ie; ice machine, escalator etc. There were old blood stains on the pillow cases and sheets..gross!

Disappointing

Liked: only thing good was that the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: front desk was rude, asked for extra blanket they gave us a sheet, bathroom was gross

Liked: Location good. Room was big and clean.
Disliked: Soaps were not refilled and there was no "do not disturb" sign. Bathroom door wouldn't close, installed wrong.
