Liked: Wonderful place with history and style, great location, delicious food.
Disliked: Would be better with a double bed + 2 twin beds in the family room (instead of two double beds)

Wonderful stay!

Liked: The property was lovely & in a perfect location. Breakfast was in the pub - it was delicious and generous. Be aware- the apartment was split over three levels so there were a lot of stairs.

Enjoyable weekend in Winchester

Liked: Location of The Old Vine was spot on, right by the Cathedral and in the hub of all the cafes and shops etc
Disliked: Nothing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

Liked: Breakfast was very good and varied.Excellent welcome from staff, especially Bradley who welcomed everyone with a smile and had a great personality.
Disliked: Nothing really, except the yogurt at breakfast was extremely thick, like clotted cream. A much lighter one would be much nicer.

Liked: Beautiful property and our room was really nice, well appointed and clean
Disliked: Parking was a problem as the permit parking was hit and miss…we had to park in a multi-storey long stay park 8 mins walk

Great location, lovely staff ,

Liked: Lovely pub with room directly opposite the Cathedral. Very central. We had a room at the front. Good food in the restaurant. The room was full of character the floor was sloping The mini bar with soft drinks was a nice touchBreakfast brought to your room was a lovely touch.
Disliked: There was too much furniture in the room. 4 chairs for 2 people and just got in the way. The glass storage unit in the bathroom was slightly unstable and in the way. The room was very hot. A fan was provided but as the vines outside covered the windows there wasn’t much airflow The period bed had a footboard, which is not good for a tall person.
