Would stay again

Liked: Location, food and staff.Nice touch on the items in the fridge.
Disliked: Some broken tiles (not safe for small children’s feet) in the bathroom. Really need to attend to these.Didn’t note from the description that the single bedroom was on the top floor (different to the master bedroom). Had to drag the mattress down as I didn’t want my child to fall down the stairs and be on another floor. Perhaps some stair gates considering the layout to make it safe for families.

Liked: A great experience from checking in with a pleasant chap named Bradley. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he helped with the bags an gave us the parking instructions etc. Breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve had at any hotel. Very fresh food and ample portions. The young waitresses who were serving breakfast were a delight to deal with. The location was amazing for our first visit to Winchester. I would highly recommend.
Disliked: Sadly the old vine doesn’t accept cash. I took a majority of cash for this visit. Therefore we ate and drank at a pub across the road that did accept cash. The old vine probably missed out on about an extra £150-175 over the two days that we stayed due to not accepting cash.

Liked: Wonderful place with history and style, great location, delicious food.
Disliked: Would be better with a double bed + 2 twin beds in the family room (instead of two double beds)

Wonderful stay!

Liked: The property was lovely & in a perfect location. Breakfast was in the pub - it was delicious and generous. Be aware- the apartment was split over three levels so there were a lot of stairs.

Enjoyable weekend in Winchester

Liked: Location of The Old Vine was spot on, right by the Cathedral and in the hub of all the cafes and shops etc
Disliked: Nothing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

Liked: Breakfast was very good and varied.Excellent welcome from staff, especially Bradley who welcomed everyone with a smile and had a great personality.
Disliked: Nothing really, except the yogurt at breakfast was extremely thick, like clotted cream. A much lighter one would be much nicer.
