The Old Vicarage Restaurant with Rooms is a family-run hotel and restaurant in the beautiful Shropshire Countryside. The hotel restaurant offers an excellent wine list and award-winning cuisine using locally sourced ingredients in a relaxed and elegant setting. Our stay was ok but...

Liked: We liked the view from the room and the size of the room. We also liked the location of the hotel and the view and presentation of the breakfast room.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was very dated and had a musty smell throughout. It looked as if the furniture had been bought from a house repossession! The shower water went cold after 2 minutes. The breakfast was ok but the mushrooms were tasteless.

Liked: Lovely surroundings, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast freshly made and the resident cat was delightful

It did the job but...

Liked: It was very close to the wedding venue that we were going to.
Disliked: The shower was an old electric shower and the water pressure was poor. The hair dryer looked like something from a museum.
