Liked: The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a stunning view of the Empire State Bldg. from our window in our room. The rooftop bar also has a fabulous view.
Disliked: The rooms, like most rooms in NYC, are small.

Liked: Exceptionally friendly staff. We really loved all the staff. They addressed everything in a very useful manner. The location in midtown is fantastic, as you are near everything. The rooftop is very nice, if a bit small.
Disliked: The rooms are too small and not comfortable because of the AC that blows cold air very strongly straight into the bed and is extremely loud. We stayed in a king-bed room which was so small that the AC vent faced the bed directly, waking us up all through the night in not at all a nice way. It was also near the elevator where loud guests could be heard through the night. I regard the the ability to sleep as the most fundamental feature a hotel room needs to satisfy, and clearly that did not happen here. I should note that we did not mention this to staff and we probably should have done it, but we were too busy during the stay.

Disliked: Maybe a bit, but just a bit, pricy

Could be wonderful if only...
Liked: It is a very well equipped room, good location and staff were mostly nice (not all of them though).
Disliked: Rooms are extremely tiny and quite claustrophobic. The two queen beds just blocked the room. We had to do some juggling it order to move inside. No room for luggage at all. We moved to another hotel after two night because of that. (We stayed in a twins room, the one that is just a little bigger).
