Liked: Beautiful location nestled in the square! We stayed in a garden room out the back, very quiet and peaceful. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely! Room was snug but comfy and very clean.
Disliked: We received a very strange welcome when we arrived - which I assume was one of the owners. Quite unfriendly and it almost felt like we were a bit of an inconvenience, which was very strange. The inn was quiet and it created a bit of an atmosphere, even later in the evening. My assumption was that he was having a bad day but when you’re paying £170 for one night, a pleasant welcome would have been appreciated. The staff in the restaurant, however, couldn’t be faulted!
