Disliked: The room was very hot. If you opened windows noisy machine noise. Fan ineffectual.

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was a good size for the money we paid and fairly clean
Disliked: The shower was not very good literally no pressure and temperature kept changing, breakfast was very chaotic no plates, then continuously running out of food/drink. The lift wasn’t working it didn’t really affect us but there were a lot of elderly there relying on it

Overall decent value for money

Liked: The hotel was much as I expected for the price I paid, it is old and a little tired like most of the big hotels in Scarborough but it was adequate for a 2 night stay and the staff were all very nice.
Disliked: The breakfast offering was basic a bit of fruit would have been nice and it is quite a walk to the beach.
